Visit Autoscribe at ISBER 2015
20th April 2015
Autoscribe Informatics announced today that it would be demonstrating its Biobank repository management solution, Matrix Biobank, at ISBER 2015 in Phoenix Arizona, May 5-9 2015. Autoscribe Informatics’ unique configuration tools enable biobank administrators to configure the workflows and screens to their exact needs in order to store biospecimens along with detailed associated patient genealogy, and to find them with ease at a later date to process.
The International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) fosters collaboration amongst biobank repositories and showcases state-of-the-art technologies, such as the Matrix Biobank repository management solution, to foster best practice. Biobanking repositories covered by the ISBER include Animal, Environmental, Human Specimen, Microorganism Culture Collection, Museum, Plant/Seed repositories.
Matrix Gemini provides a highly-configurable future proof management solution for all biobank repositories. The “Out of the box” solution can be infinitely configured to meet the needs of any biobank, however complex or unique their specimen collection, storage and dissemination workflows. A UK wide cancer charity, The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, has one such human biorepository. It uses the Matrix Biobank repository management solution to manage the samples, and associated patient data, which is stored for use in clinical trials. The Cancer Foundation is stringently monitored to meet UK regulations including the Human Tissue Act (HTA) and to be compliant with current best practice, including the Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP).
